Almost a month old...

It's taken me a bit longer to get back into the swing of updating this, so I hope to be better in the future! Let's see, what has been going on...

Georgie is almost a month old now, and so far has been a really good baby. I don't know how we lucked out this time with a baby that sleeps well, nurses well, etc. but somehow we did! Maybe God just figured that we went through enough with Henry's fussiness that we deserved a break this time. At 2 1/2 weeks Georgie was already up to 9lbs which is awesome!

Henry has been adjusting well, last week he had 2 bad days right in a row and I thought that if it continued another day I was going to have a nervous breakdown, but luckily he snapped out of the funk and has been great ever since. Oh, he's still onery (sp?) as ever and "spirited" (that's a nice way of saying he's a maniac) but he's not asking for Georgie to go back in Mommy's tummy or running away from us at the pool, down the street, etc.

So life with 2 boys has been treating us well! Bill & Mary Pat arrive tomorrow and we're excited about their visit. On Monday my friend Hakes came down from the Sioux City area to see George and brought her 15 month old son Jack down. The pic above is of Jack & Henry playing. And I just realized I don't really have any photos of George from the past week - since he sleeps so much we never really have any good photo ops! So the other photo is from when he was 2 weeks old (still pretty recent). :)
