Our trip to Puerto Rico for spring break was awesome! Mike had a different spring break so he was stuck at home babysitting Rex, the class 3J tree frog, George's tropical fish, George's bacteria samples for his science fair project, and Henry's samples of rotting food for his science fair project. Meanwhile, the rest of us were in Puerto Rico with Mimi enjoying 90+ degrees and sunshine!
The boys always take the flying precautions very seriously. It cracks me up. This is not a staged photo, they were both reading the safety brochure and locating their nearest exit.
George kicking back on our hotel room balcony.
Our first evening! George collected a canister of sand to bring back to school.
Henry dipping his toes into the ocean.
The surf was pretty rough by our hotel, so we bounced around in the waves a bit but it was not a great location for lounging in the ocean on a raft or anything. Very pretty though!
Sandcastle business.
The kids though this was so funny - "Butts here". They giggled every time we walked by it. We really need to get out more.
At the pool, working on our tans.
Enjoying a "nada" margarita at Senor Frogs.
Mimie and the boys enjoying the pool - our pool had a waterslide which was a huge hit!
Henry enjoying a tasty "nada" treat at a local Mexican restaurant .
At El Morro, the old fort in Old San Juan. Henry and George thought it looked like "Minecraft" world.
A pic of the 4 of us!
Headed back home!
