Dude, Where's My Snowplow?

Faced with the prospect of eating frozen pizza for dinner 2 nights in a row, we decided to test the car's 4-wheel drive capabilities on the still unplowed streets of our neighborhood. We learned two things: 1. Our SUV's 4x4 can get through 12 inches of unplowed, drifting snow with relative ease; 2. Our SUV's 4x4 cannot go over Honda Civics and VW Jettas stuck in 12 inches of snow. So that's the lesson folks: it does you no good to have 4-wheel drive when the obstacles you face are other vehicles. We did find a street that was clear enough to get us to the main road and more importantly, to Buffalo Wild Wings. BWW sits about 5 blocks from our house, so in case we got stuck we figured we could always walk back. We sat there for an hour and a half, just happy to be out of our house! And of course we enjoyed the tasty wings.
At approximately 3pm on Saturday afternoon, we heard the most beautiful sound in the world: the roar of a snowplow barreling down our street! My neighbor confessed that she cried a tear of joy when this happened (she is the owner of the previously mentioned VW Jetta).

Good thing you don't live on a cul-de-sac driving a Malibu! You'd still be eating frozen pizza!
