“Mad Men” on AMC? It is easily the best show on TV right now. It takes place in 1960 and in addition to the great characters, the whole portrayal of life in that era is fantastic (Autumn, Andrea, and Amanda – if you are reading this, it would have fit right in our film class at ISU). Plus, for the ladies out there, the main character is pretty easy on the eyes. Its from one of the producers of “The Sopranos” so if you were a fan of that show you will appreciate Mad Men, it has the same kind of feel, minus of course the profanity, gratuitous violence, strippers, whackings, and so on. So I guess it’s not really like “The Sopranos” at all but it is really, really good.
