The boys and I made it to Des Moines in one piece. They were angels on the flight, thank goodness. And the travel gods were looking out for us, because both of our flights were on time and we had no drama at all. Hank was so well-behaved, and Georgie did remarkably well considering he was dying to get up and walk up and down the aisle.
Of course, we were greeted in Des Moines by terrential downpours and flooding, causing flashbacks of the Flood of 1993. Thank god this time we will not lose our water!
We've had a lot of fun so far, pictures to come later!

Oh I soo wish we were in DSM at the same time. It would be fun to catch up while our kiddos played.
I was going to call you tonight and see if your parents were affected by the flooding. Hope everything went good!
