Fake Spring #2

I've lived in either the Midwest or New England my whole life, so I know a fake spring when I see it. Spring does not really start until you are guaranteed no snow, so I say here in NW Wisconsin that would be May. (Actually, in southern Indiana, where I lived for 3 years, spring came a lot earlier). Anyway, we enjoyed the weather today!

Henry outside - note the red popsicle stains on his face. Temps above 40 degrees mean the popsicles make their first appearance.
Rex out in the yard. You can't see it in this picture, but Rex is sporting some new jewelry - his new collar for the invisible fence. He has gotten zapped a few times and that did it - no more trying to leave the yard.

No kidding on the fake spring! The funny thing is that now my students will ask me a thousand times all day whether recess is inside or outside. We never know until right before because temperature and precipitation are so iffy in the spring!
