Whirlwind Weekend

 This picture is leftover from our trip up to the lake after Thanksgiving - I forgot that it was on my phone! I know I am late to the Instagram phenomenon but I am loving it.

 The elf- at it again. The kids were obsessed this weekend with what the elf was doing while we were in Des Moines.

 The grandchildren hamming it up for the camera in front of Mimi and Grampy's tree.

 We exchanged Christmas gifts over the weekend - one of the boys' presents was the "Fibber" game, which is similar to a little gem of a game that we used to call "BullS*&t". Apparently they have made a kid-friendly version of it now. Part of the game is when you get caught lying you have to add to your nose.

 We made gingerbread houses. We had structural difficulties with a few of them. Megs' was perfect, as usual. Henry's didn't even make it to the photo op.
