Just like a man

Hank has been anxiously awaiting the releast of Bolt on DVD. Many conversations were had about the making of a movie, its release into the movie theaters, and its subsequent DVD release. ("How do they get the movie onto the DVD? How does it all fit on that disc?") So anyway, today is the big day. I had it all planned out in my head: we would make a big trip to Target this afternoon, Hank would grab the DVD off the display and proudly hand over his piggy-bank money to the cashier, beaming with pride and learning good lessons about saving money and the value of a dollar.

So this morning I tell Hank, "They start selling Bolt today! Do you want to go to Target this afternoon to buy it?" He ran upstairs and fished his money out of his bank. He came back down, slapped the cash into my hand, and said, "You can go to Target this morning while I'm at school and buy it. That way, it will be all ready for me when I get home."

Sigh.

That is funny- Abby couldn't be more different! A couple of times a week she will say that she wants to go to Target. And recently she has added Hy-Vee onto her list of places she wants to go. Oh a girl after her mommy's heart! There is just too much testosterone in you house :-)

Would have been even more typical if he farted right after he said it.
