Back by popular demand...

We colored Easter eggs yesterday outside - not as messy as last year, but still fun!

Meanwhile, we are in the middle of making plans for the summer... so far, a trip for Henry, Georgie, and I to Des Moines in June, Mike's annual baseball trip in June (this year they are going to Texas), a trip to the Dells (what summer in Wisconsin would be complete without a trip to the waterpark capital of the universe?) and finally a cabin rental in northern Minnesota for a week in August. We may try to squeeze in a short Chicago trip in there somewhere as well. Henry's doing UWEC's Summer Institute again and wants to do T-Ball, swimming lessons, and golf. Georgie is going to do a summer day camp for a week and a few little park and rec activities. Busy, busy, busy!

On a completely random note, I have been watching The Real Housewives of NYC and I can't believe how mean they all are to each other... it makes me so thankful for all the great friends in my life. I can honestly say that since college, I have had the most amazing friends a girl can ask for everywhere I have lived... Iowa State, Indiana, Omaha, Maine (even though I wasn't there for that long), and now Eau Claire.

Not sure what I find funnier. His evil little laugh and big grin as he drops the egg hard in the cup or the fact that his right hand is stained blue! You are a brave mama!

How adorable!! Love it love it love it! They are so fun to watch. I have to also admit to watching the Housewives show and often feel anxious afterwards. It's hard to know how much is real and how much they are putting on but no doubt about it...it's vicious. I'm glad we are not like them too!!
