Grampy helping Henry open up his new framed Packer poster - this kid is obsessed with the Packers now. This is what happens when you move to Wisconsin, it's contagious! (But do NOT expect us to start rooting for the Badgers anytime soon! Yes Kelly and Elli, I am talking to you!)

Georgie being, well, Georgie.

A cold winter's day, some lounge time, some Chex Mix, someone to share it with... what could be better?

Playing with some of the new gifts

I can't come up with a good enough caption for this picture. It deserves better than what I can think up today. I will add that the egg carton behind Rex is one of his favorite "toys" - he rifles through the recycling bin in the kitchen until he finds egg cartons to shred apart.
My parents (a.k.a. Mimi & Grampy) and Aunt Meg and Uncle Doug came to Eau Claire the day after Christmas for a belated Christmas celebration. Naturally, Henry and George were excited to open even more presents!
Meanwhile, Meg brought her new Cricut machine up and we spent probably 24 total hours playing with it and making cut-outs. It was awesome!

You say that now but what happens when Henry goes to school there :) Actually I totally understand, you will never see me cheering on those Huskers :) Looks like you had a great holiday season! Hope all is well.
Kelly
I envision a "Badger Mom" T-shirt in, oh, about 12 or 13 years. :-) I cheer for Iowa State (unless they play the Badgers, of course)...Don't tell me you are Huskers fans...I know Ang couldn't possibly go to another Big 12 team. Happy New Year!
Ha ha! I know, I know, one of my kids will totally end up going to school there and then I'll be all decked out in Badger Gear. :) I actually don't root against Wisconsin, I just have not reached the point where I am actively rooting them on. However, I think MIKE has!
