First Communion weekend!
This weekend was Henry's first communion. He was so excited for it! We had family in town to celebrate with us and it was a great weekend.
All dressed up in his suit - he gave us very little grief about wearing it, which was shocking considering he would live in sweatpants and a t-shirt if we let him.

Mommy slaved over Henry made this banner in preparation for the big day - all the kids made one and they were hung on the pews.
Henry and his buddies from class- they all received their First Communion at the 9:30 ceremony, which was nice.

It was a wonderful celebration! Henry was so cute! You forgot to mention that while waiting for Mass to begin, Georgie whispered in my ear, "I think I'm in a nightmare".. :-)
Great photos! Ainsley was lucky enough to see all the kids make their first communion. AT 930 and again at 11am. That's what happens when you are naughty at the first mass. You come back for the 2nd one! Only thing that would have made it longer was a few baptisms :)
Congratulations to Henry! We had ours last weekend as well. So fun for the kids. Sounds like you guys had a fun celebration.
