Cure for the 7-year itch

Greetings from Hayward, Wisconsin! We're on a little mini-vacay here. On Wednesday we drove up to Bayfield, Wisconsin, which is a pretty little town on Lake Superior. When we researched places to stay in Bayfield, all we came across were lovely bed and breakfasts. Which would have been fantastic if it were just Mike and I, but since Henry and Georgie were with us, not exactly a good fit for our family. We would have surely been kicked out. So we stayed down the road a bit in a Best Western in Ashland, Wisconsin. Thursday was our 7-year-anniversary, so after we put the kids to bed Mike and I enjoyed a few cold beers out on the deck to celebrate. Yep, those are CANS of Leinenkugel original. Classy, I know. We got them in the hotel (not sure if that is an accurate label for the Ashland Best Western) lobby. Yep, that's what was for sale in the good ol' Best Western- nothing but 6-pack cans of beer. What can I say, we celebrated lumberjack style. I had not had a CAN of beer in a loooong time, and I'm telling you, I haven't missed it. But we'll never forget our 7th anniversary, where we toasted each other on the deck of a northern Wisconsin Best Western with cans of Leinenkugel. Ahhh, memories.
