Dinner with Santa

I'm back. I took a little vacay from the blog over Christmas, mostly because the pictures kept piling up on my camera and when I hit over a 100 photos on there I get overwhelmed and start avoiding the uploading process because I know I will be glued to the computer for an hour or longer editing and uploading and sharing, etc.

We arrived back in Eau Claire yesterday afternoon and managed to get a lot done in a few hours. We unpacked, cleaned up the yucky house, started laundry, went through some old toys and added to the garage sale pile, and de-Christmased the house. Poor Georgie cried once again this year when I started taking the ornaments off the tree. This kid LOVES Christmas!

So I'll start with last Tuesday night when we had our Dinner with Santa and Friends. Georgie was a big chicken this year and wanted nothing to do with Santa, Frosty, or Rudolph. Henry LOVED them all and I even got him to sit on Santa's lap this year! So I was able to get his first Santa picture where he is smiling EVER.

After we ate and sat on Santa's lap (for George, this meant lurking around the corner from Santa and hissing to Henry to get him a cookie from the big guy) they had a little ventriloquist and juggling show. It was pretty corny but the kids found it hilarious.
