Poor Georgie. He's usually such a happy, content baby (see photo above) but he's been sick since Thursday. He's just now showing signs of improvement, which makes us all happy. I took him into the doctor on Saturday because the cold was showing no signs of getting better and he was running a fever. They did the culture for RSV, which we don't have the results yet but I am thinking that is what he has because it seems much worse than a regular cold. So I don't have much new to update this week because we have been pretty much shut-ins since Thursday, besides a trip to the doctor and a trip to the grocery store on Sunday. Hopefully I'll have a happier update in a few days!
Oh, before I forget, Hank woke up this morning wanting to go to the beach. It is 18 degrees outside right now. I tried to explain this to him but he insists that he needs to meet Ariel at the beach.
Ang - "Where is Ariel now?"
Hank - "At the grocery store."
Ang - "What is she doing there?"
Hank - "getting some cookies."
So there you have it: Hank's dream date. Cookies and Ariel at the beach. He even packed his backpack with his swim trunks, towel, and fake food from his play kitchen. Then he came and found me in the laundry room.
Hank - "do you want to go with me?"
Ang - "Georgie's taking a nap Hank. I can't go with you. You can go by yourself." (Thinking he's just pretending).
Hank - "But I don't know how to get there."
At this point I notice that Hank has dressed himself completely (usually a major battle) and has boots in hand. So he's clearly ready to go to the beach. The only way I was able to talk him out of it was to promise that he could watch the movie this morning. I tell you, he is Ariel-obsessed.

Hey Angela, it's Dana-I'm at lunch and just caught up on your blog. You are so high tech :o) I've never responded on a blog. So this shall be fun. Your stories are SOOO funny, and oh how I can relate especially with the pretending. Libby hasn't had the pretend date yet, but she pretends she's cooking cake, ice cream and coffee, and she's serving Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Minnie Mouse, and myself. She also pretends we are in a beauty salon and she tells me she needs to wash my hair but in the middle of the washing she yells, "now Cry!" I guess she says that because when we wash her hair she tends to cry because heaven forbid we get water on her face. Ahhh, kids I love'm. ANyway, I can't believe all the snow!! It's been pretty cold here. I think we haven't had this much snow in a long time for OMaha. We usually get the cold but not the snow. I'm glad felicia passed this on to me since I used to compare stories with Mike. Well, I better get back, lunchtime is up and I just wanted to say hi and good to hear all is well. TAke care!

Okay, I'm Georgie obsessed! I want to kiss those cheeks. How do you get anything done? How do you do dishes and laundry, when you could be kissing those cheeks. He is soooo freaking cute. This age is fun, and now that Froggy is a toddler, I miss those days of chubby cheeks, roly poly thighs, and moon eyes. Ahhh enjoy it.
I agree with Froggymama! I'm Georgie obsessed too! All I want to do when I'm around him is kiss his cute little cheeks! He is always smiling! I think Hanky is getting a Little Mermaid Valentine from Mimi and Grampy! (Shh..Don't tell Mike!)
