Just checking in to see if I'm the only one out there that has a major addiction to tracking packages on the internet - last week I ordered a present for my sister from a company that (gasp!) didn't provide me with a tracking number, so I couldn't track the package and see its precise arrival at its destination. That is when I realized that I have a problem. Whenever I order something on the internet, the scene goes something like this:
Day 1 - Departure scan - Olive Branch, Mississippi- it's on its way!
Day 2- still in Mississippi. Did they have a storm there or something? Why is it still there?
Day 3 - Boston. YES! Its moving quickly!
Day 4- Boston. Why is it still there?
Day 5 - Boston. IS THERE NO ONE WORKING IN BOSTON? WHAT IS GOING ON?
Day 6 - Chelmsford, MA. WHY IS IT GOING BACKWARDS?
Day 7 - Brewer, Maine. Phew. Almost here.
Day 8 - out for delivery. Yahoo!
I told you that I have a problem.

Ha ha ha... I do the same thing with things I'm waiting for. The worst obsession was waiting for my Mac. I even had the thing send me updates by text message.
