This week is school vacation week here in New England. I had never heard of having two spring breaks, but that is the way they do it in this part of the country, one week off in February and another week off in April. Kind of nice, although this means Hank is even more cooped up than usual, which in turn makes me a little crazier than usual. So to break up the monotony, we had a guest over today. Mike's coworker's daughter is in 5th grade and made up these nifty flyers advertising her services as a "mother's helper." I arranged to have her over this morning, and she kept Hank busy upstairs for the entire morning. When they came downstairs two hours later for a snack, I asked, "How are things going up there?" She looked a little wiped out.
"Good," she said, "he sure does have a lot of energy." I smiled and replied, "Yeah, he's pretty much like that from the minute he gets up til the minute he goes to bed." "That's okay," she said, "he's gonna be really good at P.E."

That is so funny!! Have you seen that dodgeball movie with Vince Vaughn? Hilarious! Too bad she doesn't live closer to us I would hire her in a minute!!
