A visit from Cousin Eli

We had a great weekend because Mike's cousin Eli came to visit us. He arrived on Thursday night and Hank promptly wore him out on Friday. It was like a mini-vacation for me because Hank and Eli were up in the playroom for much of the day keeping busy. Eli foolishly tried to take a nap in the afternoon, and when I went up there to check on things I found Hank on top of Eli, trying to pry his eyelids open and feed him fake food from his kitchen. The older guys (Mike, Hank, and Eli) went snowshoeing on Saturday and had a good time, the weather was great. There was fresh snow but the temperature all weekend was in the upper 30's with no wind and nice, warm sunshine. (Well, relatively warm. You California people keep quiet. You know who you are.) Anyway, on Sunday Eli and Hank made a pizza that was delicious and then it was time to say good-bye. Hank was sad to see "Cousin Eli" go and we're looking forward to his next visit!

In other news, Hank's new favorite game to play is "Let's go camping." I LOVE this game, because it mostly involves me laying on the ground in the makeshift tent (Hank's pop-up school bus with a blanket thrown over the top) pretending like I'm asleep. I always suggest playing it during Georgie's afternoon nap. The other day I snuck a People magzine in there (thanks, Ashlii!) and a Diet Pepsi and it was fabulous. It's my favorite game ever.
