There are many things I could be posting about right now, but I have been neglecting the blog because I have become addicted to the "Twilight" books. Yes, I must have the taste of a 15-year-old girl, because I cannot stop reading these things!! I am only posting this because I am assuming there are other 30-something Twilight addicts out there and I am not alone in my addiction. I blame Ashlii for suggesting I read them, and Meg for supplying the goods. I realized I truly needed help when I nearly purchased a magazine just because Robert Pattinson (the star of the Twilight movie, which I rented and watched as soon as I finished the 1st book) was on the cover. Is there some kind of 12-step program I can do? What is WRONG with me?
As soon as I finish "Breaking Dawn" (the last in the saga) I will be back to my normal posting self again. This is not easy for me to admit; I only hope by sharing my story I can help others from becoming addicts themselves.

Just the other day I asked one of our students at work to borrow her books. I just keep hearing about this series from everyone and feel so out of the loop since I haven't read them! I'm not sure if your post has inspired me to read them or to avoid them ;-) Perhaps you can begin a 12-step program for all the other addicts out there!
I love how:
I read #1, then you read it while I read #2.
Then you couldn't wait for me to finish #2, so you BOUGHT it.
Then you had to borrow #3 while I took a Twilight break and read something else.
Now I'm finished with #2, you are done with #3
You will probably finish #4 before I am even done with #3.
You clearly became more addicted to them than me!
Meg - I know. I don't understand how you could take a break between books #2 and #3. I can't get enough vampires!
Grasso - If you do read them, I recommend clearing your schedule for awhile. Make sure you are caught up on your bills, housework, emails, etc. Then begin. Because if you are anything like me, once you start you won't be able to do anything else but read. Sad, but true. Again, I am not proud!
Too funny! My neighbor just emerged herself in all the hoopla and she keeps trying to draw me into her craziness.
Lisa got me hooked earlier this year. I COULD NOT stop reading them!! I read them in the car when we went to MN for the girls cheer thing. I totally understand - they are so addictive!
