Mike took Henry on his first camping trip on Friday night... they camped at a state park about an hour away from here, so if disaster struck they could drive back home. Thankfully disaster did not strike and they had a great time. Henry's favorite part was roasting hot dogs and marshmallows, and his least favorite part was using the pit toilets. Can't say I blame him there - I'm not much of a camper myself, but when Georgie gets older I know that I'll want to tag along with the boys so I'll need to get over that.
Earlier that day Mike took the boys on a little hike - it was Georgie's first hike where he wasn't in the backpack carrier. On Saturday Georgie and I met up with some friends at the farmer's market and when Henry and Mike got back we went out to the farm to pick raspberries. I made some rhubarb-raspberry jam today - it's my first jam-making endeavor so I'm hoping that it turns out yummy! And last night we went swimming with our friends and saw lots of people we knew at the pool which was fun. It's been a busy weekend!

I love the pictures! My favorite part of camping is roasting hot dogs and marshmellows too! The jam sounds yummy! I've never made jam before! Your Grandma Marie would be so proud of you! :-)
