New Colors

This is Henry's room - Benjamin Moore Creekside Green. It turned out awesome - Henry wanted more a frog-green color, so this was our compromise. (New ceiling fan to be installed - that red thing is horrible). (Note also the potted pink gerber daisies on his dresser - he took that out of the guest room and put it in his room - he said he needed a plant of his own). The guest room - Benjamin Moore Shaker Beige. The NFL ceiling fan in here will be moved to one of the boys' rooms.
George's room - Benjamin Moore Bennington Grey. It looks lighter in the pic than it is in real life. Note that George is still sleeping in his crib, but the big boy bed is ready to go when he's ready.

Finally, the master bedroom. It's Benjamin Moore Wedgewood Gray, which is much brighter on the walls than on the paint chip. Mike is not wild about it. It's growing on me. I thought it would be more gray but I kind of like it.

Another shot of the master.

I had the bedrooms painted this week - I am going to post pictures here. Not that anyone really cares, but when I was looking for paint colors I did a lot of online research and it was particularly helpful to see pictures of rooms painted in the colors I was looking for. By the way, those home decorating blogs can be super-addicting. Between that and flipping through the Benjamin Moore fan deck (which I borrowed from my friend, who acquired it when a contractor "left" it at her house) I have been on a paint color searching frenzy. Anyway, here are the final results! (And please excuse the state of the rooms - I have yet to hang things back up on walls, put laundry away, etc.)

I LOVE the colors of the rooms!! Just so you know, if I had to do it over, I still wouldn't miss a concert, play, game, or swim meet! :-)

That red ceiling really grabbed my attention. You should really replace it with a new color or perhaps repaint it. Try pastel shades, so it will harmoniously blend with the room’s color theme. Anyway, this is a post from years ago. How’s it going now, Ang?
