School Cancellation Day #2

No doubt, unless you've been living in a cave, you all know about the wicked cold weather that has been hitting Wisconsin and the rest of the Midwest the last few days. If you live here in the Midwest, you are suffering through it along with us. I think the air temperature this morning when we woke up was -25. That was the actual temperature. I didn't think I could stomach looking at the wind chill temp. School was cancelled both yesterday and today. We made it through yesterday with little trouble, but we are kind of going nuts this morning. I busted out the arts and crafts supplies and decided to get an early jump on making Valentine's Day crafts. That lasted for about an hour. So now both boys are watching Wall-E for the third time in 3 days. Yep, just go ahead and put me on "she caved!" list right now. It's amazing what you'll let your kids get away with when you've been cooped up in the house all week long. What's that, you want more Teddy Grahams? Sure! Oh, the box is empty? Didn't I just buy those? You want to watch Wall-E again? Sure! You want to dump out the Lego container all over the playroom floor and not pick it up? Go ahead! You guys want to scream and run and chase each other around the house and tackle each other like banshees? Why not? You want to wear your pajamas until lunchtime? Okay! And so on.

These are some pics from the other day, when I was trying out some different settings on my camera. I'm trying to venture outside the green box, people. Bear with me.

p.s. I don't usually dress the boys alike, but I love these outfits and they are both growing out of them and I wanted to squeeze in a few more wearings before they are capri pants and 3/4 sleeve shirts. Which would be cute on little girls, but boys, not so much.

Have faith. Next week I see it will be a balmy 32 degrees! Time to break out the suntan lotion!

It's 80 degrees here. Freakish. But I'm not complaining.

Could your boys get any cuter? Those cheeks! Delicious!
