We started some new traditions this year for Christmas Eve - I bought a gingerbread house kit and Hank and I spent part of the afternoon assembling and decorating the house. Hank actually did a great job at decorating it, I was impressed. I did the frosting since I knew if I left that to Hank there would be no frosting on the house and lots o' frosting in his tummy. And after all, we're in Wisconsin, not Florida, so our house needed snow.
We ate dinner and watched a Christmas movie, then it was time to get ready for Santa and read "The Night Before Christmas." Georgie was much more interested in pilfering cookies off of Santa's cookie plate.
