"Dead in the Family" by Charlaine Harris - it is the latest novel in the Sookie Stackhouse series. The HBO show True Blood is based on the books and I just started watching it - it doesn't exactly follow the plot of the books but it's close enough where it's confusing to read the books and watch the show at the same time. Anyway, it's probably because I read the books first but I do prefer the books to the show. (Although the show itself is pretty entertaining). The books are all quick reads, and this one was no exception. Sookie is a great character. I felt like this latest book wasn't as exciting as the others have been but it was still fun to read.

I still haven't read any of those books yet. I have been reading a lot the past couple of weeks, but hopefully once tutoring is over after next week I'll get around to more books, including those!
