Swimming lessons, round 1

In the wading pool
I have been getting these strange, goofy poses from Henry lately - did he watch the movie Zoolander??

For some reason, little girls are very attracted to Georgie. Extremely. I honestly have no idea why, but whenever we are at a party, a park, a pool, etc. there is always a slightly older girl or two that latches herself onto Georgie and tries to take care of him or be his friend. And it's always the little girls. Naturally, he enjoys it, but I am concerned about what this may mean for our future. Am I going to be beating cougars off with a stick when he is 16? Seriously.

Yesterday we finally experienced some decent weather, which made swimming lessons more bearable. After lessons were over we decided to stay for lunch and take advantage of the sunshine. Lessons started at 11:15am, and at 3:45pm I had to drag Henry out of the pool to go home - he would have stayed all day if I had let him. George and I were both exhausted (Georgie had missed his nap) and I was feeling sunburned- Georgie only stayed in the toddler pool for about 15 minutes and the rest of the time he was in the big pool, which meant that I was also in the big pool. But the three of us had a fun time and they day flew by... I think we'll be logging lots of time at the pool this summer!

You can count on Mimi to beat off those cougars when Georgie gets older! :-)
